Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of D'Cade Personal (desktop app), D'Cade Teams (web app), and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Provider: D'Cade ("we", "us").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Accounts

  • • Personal Free: No account required. All data is stored locally on your device.
  • • Pro / Teams: You need to create an account and keep your credentials secure.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Taxes

  • • Plans may be billed monthly or annually.
  • • Payments are processed by Creem.io as Merchant of Record.
  • • Taxes may apply depending on your location.

5. License and Acceptable Use

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • •Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • •Attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • •Upload malware or abusive content

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you write or upload ("User Content"). You grant us the rights necessary to host, process, and transmit User Content solely to provide the Services. In Teams, User Content may be accessible to other members of your team according to your settings.

7. AI Features (User-Initiated)

AI features are designed to be user-triggered. You are responsible for how you use outputs.

  • •Do not rely on outputs for legal, medical, or financial decisions.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The local app works offline — cloud features require internet access.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, D'Cade will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Services. Upon termination, your local data remains on your device; cloud data is deleted after 30 days.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be announced via email to Pro and Teams subscribers.
